Christopher Constantine
Director
A civil engineer specialising in the feasibility of greenfield projects, also
working on the servicing, design, construction and project management across
greenfield projects. Chris oversees contracts worth in excess of $10 million.
Christopher joined Millar Merrigan whilst completing his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) in 2008. After successful rotations within the engineering design, engineering construction and planning departments, Chris joined in a full-time capacity in 2009.
Working closely with industry partners, such as SPEL Environmental, Chris has been involved in Victoria’s first two projects to include floating wetlands. Completed for Nilumbik Shire Council and Knox City Council, the stormwater harvesting and reuse are the first schemes to employ this technology, which is now being implemented by Melbourne Water. This cutting edge approach can reduce the area required for stormwater treatment by up to two thirds.
Chris operates within the Board of Directors at Millar Merrigan, with a particular
focus on sustainability and technology issues.
