Known for his practical response to on-site issues, Curtis is able to consistently deliver solutions that benefit clients, contractors and the overall project. With a keen eye for detail and a strong ability to liaise with statutory authorities, Curtis ensures that all engineering construction matters are handled efficiently and effectively. His experience in contractor management, construction engineering and contract administration allows him to navigate complex challenges and drive projects to successful completion.
Curtis began his career at MIllar Merrigan following his graduaton. As a construction engineer, he liaises with statutory authorities including councils on engineering construction matters, organising and coordination activities according to relevant procedures.
Through site supervision and coordination with contractors, Curtis inspects work, facilitates negotiations and ensures that contractor’s activities are controlled and compliance.
Curtis provides valuable feedback on project and construction issues, workmanship, and any quality system and product non-conformance deficiencies. He works closely with design engineers to address design-related issues and conducts constructability checks of engineering designs.
Curtis is committed to the continual improvement of the construction department and the broader business, implementing appropriate design criteria and standards. He also takes time to mentor less experienced team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
